Latest Update: To get Mexican citizenship, the Government of Mexico requires USD 1 million investment.

Below is all the latest information about our Mexico Nationality and Passport Program, including benefits, updated expenditures, and the government processing time period.

Mexico Program

There is no need to have a visa for processing Mexican citizenship. We can handle all the Mexican citizenship processing for you, but we also support if you want to process the application in-person in Mexico City. In fact, in-person processing of the application is less expensive and cost-saving.

Since 2008, we have a main office in Mexico where our legal team continuously serves and processes the applications of our clients. Our Mexican citizenship program is directly handled by our immigration lawyer in Mexico City (along with the support of our legal team) and processed by the Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Relations (SRE). The whole processing of the Mexican citizenship program completes in only 2-3 months. It just requires your one short visit to Mexico City for the in-person signing of naturalization papers and receiving the new Mexican passport.

Visa-Free Travel to 133 Countries for Mexicans

The Mexican passport has a lot of benefits associated with it, such as dual citizenship support, etc. But the top one is visa-free travel to more than a hundred countries. As per the updated global index of international passports, the Mexican passport holders have visa on arrival or visa-free access to more than 130 countries. Owing to that, Mexican passport holds 23rd rank in the list of world’s passports with the highest other countries visa on arrival or visa-free access. Visa on arrival or visa-free access means that you don’t have to go through the hassle of applying visa for any of those 130+ countries. All you have to do is pack your bags, book a flight, and take off. You will be allowed to stay in the designated country for a specific period of time. Payment Schedules

For the main-applicant, our present referral fee for Mexican citizenship is USD 25,000. We have revised our payment schedules and ensured your convenience and satisfaction.

USD 55,000 is demanded first before we submit your formal citizenship application in Mexico City to the Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Relations (SRE). USD 17,500 is demanded after receiving Client’s Clave Única de Registro de Población (CURP) (termed as “Personal ID Code Number” or “Unique Population Registry Code” in English).

Before processing the second payment, you will be permitted to search your name, “CURP” number, birth date, and your Mexican citizen status through the official Mexican government website of the civil registry:

The last scheduled payment is USD 17,500, which is demanded after receiving your Mexican passport from the Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Relations (SRE).

Our payment schedule structure clearly narrates that you only have to place a retainer ($55,000) to initialize the process of Mexican citizenship, while the second and third scheduled payments are requested later as shown above.

No Mandatory Travel Requirement

Another key aspect of Mexican citizenship processing is that there is no mandatory travel requirement to Mexico City. It is your choice to come to Mexico City to collect documents yourself, but it is not compulsory. If you reside in such a country where getting a visa is difficult (such as African, Chinese nationals, and the Middle East), then there is no need to worry. We ensure that you and/or your family get a Mexico tourist visa at no extra cost so that you can personally come and apply.

In the approximate 4-month Mexican citizenship process including your two visits, where the 1st visit is at the beginning of the process (for 5 business days) and the 2nd visit is at the ending of the process (for 2-3 business days), you will depart Mexico with Mexican passport in hand and the naturalization certificate (along with voter ID card if you have requested, as in Mexico there are no such “national ID cards” and voter ID cards are used for such purpose).

Documents Required for Mexico Citizenship Process

  1. Authentic passport copy*
  2. Main applicant bank statements of the past 3 months (just for identification, so no minimum balance requirement)*
  3. Marriage certificate (if any)*
  4. Birth certificate*

* All demand an apostille or embassy legalizing based on the origin country.

Any needed attestations of documents are handled by our document processors. For Mexican citizenship, the existing payment for the main applicant is USD 90,000, for the spouse is USD 40,000, and per child (under 18) is USD 30,000. For a single applicant, our referral fee is USD 10,000, while for a family of two members or more, the referral fee is USD 17,500. For placing an order, kindly click on our secure online order form HERE.

Kindly select “bank wire” as your payment method in the drop-down box when you are filling the order form.
